Don’t stop seeing the world as you want to

NHS eye-tests & process.

Why get tested?

An eye examination can reveal many medical conditions which require prompt treatment, more elderly eyes maybe subject to more frequent change. It is important to maintain visual clarity for every day tasks i.e. driving etc.

How often should I get tested?

Typically between one and two years. More frequently if experiencing problems.

Do I still need to pay?

The NHS will cover your sight test and in some cases (pensions credit etc) will give a voucher for full or part cost of your spectacles.
